Distractions Down, Confidence Up

There is an increasing focus on providing endoscopists with information that makes AI more transparent and understandable, moving away from proprietary, “black-box” algorithms. In our efforts to provide transparent AI, the new Confidence Indicator (SW ver. 1.9) visualizes the probability calculations between the PolypAID AI algorithm and the identified lesion. A high correlation indicates a polyp, whereas a lower value signals an increased likelihood that that it is a false positive.
